As you may have heard, we have recently relaunched our older Sunday group. The new group ‘X:plore’ is suitable for those in Year 6 and above (that’s the last year of primary school up to the end of secondary school). However, there are some children also joining from Year 5 so this should be ok too.

X:plore will happen from 10.30 – 11.30am on Sunday mornings, but it is nearly always preceding by an informal time of worship in the hall from 9.45am which is popular with all ages. This time of worship is then followed by a time for games, activities and some social time and then twenty minutes of interactive learning about the Christian faith. We aim to make these sessions as lively and enjoyable as possible, and something people can access even if they have never been to church before.

Adventurers

Adventurers meets on Sundays during term time at the All Saints Church hall, Church Street. It meets on every Sunday except the second Sunday of each month when there is an All-Age family service in church at 9.15am.

It is for children up to school year 4/5 inclusive. For those in school year 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 there is a new Sunday group called X:plore, details of which can be found at this website.

Adventurers starts at 9.45am with some singing in the Church Hall and also the Church on the third Sunday of the month. Parents also are welcome to attend this and many of them do. You don't have to arrive at 9.45am - many folk arrive later than that, especially if they are planning on attending the 10.30am service in church.

Then at 10.30am the teaching and activity begins. Parents then have a choice of coming into church or, if they prefer, returning home. Then at 11.05am the children go into church for the remainder of the service, though parents may collect them at this point if they wish from the church hall. Check all this with the leaders when you arrive your first week.

Adventurers is great fun. It has attracted up to 30 children recently. Photos will follow in due course. Just come along. The parents also really enjoy the worship time at 10am.

All our staff and helpers are CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked for your child's safety and for your peace of mind.

Parent and Toddler Group

The Parent and Toddler Group meets on Thursday from 1.30pm to 3pm at the main church hall.

Parents stay and chat with other parents while the children play with the various toys there.

High Spirits

HIGH SPIRITS YOUTH GROUP (photos will follow in due course)

Tuesdays during term-time, 7.00 - 8.30pm.

For those in School Years 6 - 10.

A fun, friendly and vibrant youth group which meets in All Saints Hall to play games, cook, engage in art and drama and do a huge variety of activities together.

It only costs 50p a week and currently we have space for a few new members if any young people would like to join.
